Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of sportz (the "app" or "platform"), operated by xCtra GlobeCo Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. Last updated: 20 July 2026.

What sportz is

sportz is a booking and discovery platform. We let you find sports venues, reserve and pay for time slots, organise or join pickup games, and message other participants. We are a marketplace, not the operator of the venues. The facility itself — its condition, equipment, safety and staff — is the responsibility of the venue owner.

Eligibility & your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account and make payments.
• You sign in with a phone number (OTP) or a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping access to it secure.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or register on someone else's behalf without their consent.
• The information in your profile (name, city, sports) should be accurate — other players rely on it.

Bookings

• A slot is only reserved once payment succeeds. Until then it is held for a short period (15 minutes) and then released.
• Prices are set by the venue owner and shown inclusive of our platform fee before you pay. The price you see at checkout is the price charged.
• Turn up on time. Venues may refuse entry for a slot you arrive late for, and late arrival does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
• Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. We charge a platform commission on each booking, which is already included in the displayed price. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).

Pickup games and conduct

Games are organised by users, not by us. When you join a game you are meeting other members of the public — use ordinary judgement about your own safety. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
• post unlawful, abusive or misleading content in chats or reviews;
• write reviews for venues you have not actually visited;
• attempt to scrape, disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the service.

We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.

Venue owners

If you list a venue, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that your listing, pricing and availability are accurate. Listings are reviewed before going live. You are responsible for honouring confirmed bookings, for the safety and legal compliance of your facility, and for any taxes on your earnings. Payouts are net of our commission.

Content you post

You keep ownership of your reviews, photos, messages and game details. You grant us a licence to host and display that content within the service so it can function. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of a venue or from participation in a game organised through the platform. Our liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
